Richard Eric "Rick" Taylor, 48 of Yuma, passed away on November 9, 2014 in Phoenix, Arizona. He was born at the Tachikawa Air Force Base in Tokyo, Japan on August 1, 1966. He attended Kofa High School and Cochise College, earning a certificate in Air Frame and Power Plant Training. Rick was a life-long mechanic, and worked at several shops in Yuma. His last employment was with Vandervoort Date Ranches. He is preceded in death by his father, Jack Taylor and grandmother, Tillie Coates.
Rick is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Felisa and three beautiful children: Justine Castro, Jocelyn and Jack Taylor, and grandson Zayne Ryder. Rick is also survived by his mother Yvonne Taylor, brothers Ed, Steve (Vickie), and Tim Taylor.
Celebration of his life will be held Monday, November 17, 2014, 1:00 at Johnson's Mortuary, 1415 S. 1st Avenue, with reception following at Britain's Farms Chuckwagon, 4330 Riverside Drive.
