Rosie you will be greatly missed by all those who knew you. We will always remember your smile and your quick walking around the schools. I was proud to call you my Aunt. May you rest in peace.

The picture of her in the obituary is exactly the way we remember her.  I never saw her without that smile.  I never heard a single soul, student, teacher. parent, administrator or anyone else say a negative word about Rosie!  She was just a exceptional human being and we all loved her.  I don't doubt she has ANGLE Status awaiting her in heaven. Please accept our condolences!!

I was so honored to be introduced to Rosie about 25 years ago when my husband and I  moved to Yuma. My mother, Virginia Lee Hinton, who taught in the Crane District, absolutely loved her. I was always happy to see Rosie in different places once in awhile after she retired. Mother went to be with the Lord at age 97 in 2013. It will be wonderful to be reunited with both of them in God's time.

Miss Rosie was a blessing to everyone she met.  Though I wasn't a student at Crane, I had the opportunity to meet her and she treated me as if she had knew me all my life.  I have had family that attended crane and she was good to them and made sure they were taken care of.  She will be missed.  Thank you Miss Rosie.

Rosie...the sweetest person, kind, and just truly genuine.  She always greeted us with a smile. I was blessed to have be able to be around Rosie since her days at Pueblo School. You will be missed.

I was so blessed to have had Rosie in my life. She was such a beautiful angel. I will always love and miss you Rosie. I see your beautiful smile and I always enjoyed our talks and how you always laughed when I always told you that you smelled like a million bucks. I will miss you so much.

I had the honor and privilege of knowing and working with Ms. Rosie for many years as both a teacher and administrator for Crane SD.  Her picture captures the smile and caring attitude she exhibited to every student, parent, and staff member she encountered.  She loved us and was loved by all.  I always felt better in her presence.  She was one of the most decent people I ever met, I will miss that smile and sense of humor.  I am sure she is in heaven.

A TRUE SAINT YUMA HAS TRULY LOST AN ANGEL,SHE WILL NOW WATCH OVER US

Roses was a very special person. She always treated everyone with respect and kindness. I taught school at Crane for 29 years and most of that with Rosie. She was a friend as well as a co-worker. She will be missed.

It was my pleasure to be Rosie's supervisor for 21 of her 39 years working for Crane School District.  But mostly it was my pleasure to be her friend. She loved her job and all of "her" kids at the schools where she worked.  She brought joy to those who knew her and she made my job easier because I could always count on her to follow all the rules and regulations associated with running a school meals program. I will miss her smiling face and "can do" attitude.  My thoughts are with Amelia and Andy and their families at this sad time.

Ms. Rosie never let a student go hungry.  She always made sure all the students had a meal. She always had a huge smile that lit up any room. She made a huge impact on the students and we will always carry fond memories of her and our time with her. It was sad to leave HLS because we all missed Ms. Rosie. Many of us would go back to HLS just to see her! She will always be remember and greatly missed. Thank you for caring so much about your students, Ms. Rosie! We will never forget you! I remember her at Crane school, she always had a smile on her face and made you feel special.  I worked in the cafeteria in the 4th and 5th grade just because she worked there. Rest in peace Rosie! :)Dana Buckelew :)❤

I was blessed to be one of her students at Crane and to be reunited on Dec 1 with her.  What a wonderful lady and she had that same smile on her face. Heaven received an angel that day. Prayers to the family.

Rosie was the best part of elementary school. I would go to school early to eat breakfast and talk to her. I loved volunteering in the cafeteria during lunch time. She had the best heart and treated us like we were her own children. Love you Rosie!

So sad to hear of her passing as she was apart of many of our young lives while in the Crane district, I went to Crane Pueblo from 1982 - 1988 and then Crane Junior High. I have fond memories of her and they all make me smile, whether it was buying a lunch ticket in the morning or seeing her in the grocery store, she was always smiling. When I'd help serve food, she'd always tell me, "only finger tips worth of fries, not a handful." To this day, I say those same words from time to time. You were loved by many young children years ago and still are loved many years after we left the schools. Rest in peace and God bless.Aaron Holbrook

Rosie wasnit just the cafeteria lady she was a part of my family and there are generations of families that were blessed to know and love her.

I can't express how much Rosie will be missed. I had the pleasure of spending every other Monday with her for the past 2 years. My heart is heavy and sad for the loss of this great lady. She truly loved and touched everyone she met. I was blessed to have such a friend.

This beautiful woman always had a smile on her face. She spread happiness to all she encountered, I am blessed to have known her.

She was a special, patient and kind person. Known as the lunch line " ticket lady" for Crane School. She touched many and will be missed.

Ms. Rosie was an absolutely lovely person & wonderful role model to my 3 children as they attended Crane school. I had an absolute pleasure, as well, to see her often as a resident of Emerald Springs who lived only a couple doors down from my mom. Always kind & soft spoken with a warm smile on her face. My condolences to her family, may God give you peace at this difficult time. So happy to have known this special lady!

Ms. Rosie, you were a true blessing to many of us, thank you so much for being the wonderful person you were. You made us all better people just being around you. God received one of his Angels home. Thank you Ms. Rosie for all you did!!!

Rosie was an absolute joy to be around when I worked at Crane. All the students and staff could count on her warm smile every single day as we passed through the cafeteria. Please accept my sincere condolences on your loss and prayers that your memories of this blessed little lady will carry you through your sorrow.

I worked at HLSuverkrup Elementary while Rosie was Cafeteria Manager. She was always the sweetest person to everyone! We all loved her so much. She will be missed by all. Rosie save a place for me in Heaven! You may need to pull a few of us through the back door!! Praying for you and all your family. Love you Rosie.

Precious Rosie- This picture is just how I remembered her!  I loved her so much. When I taught at Suverkrup, I would go by the lunch room and always enjoyed talking to this precious lady.

She was so loving, kind, and thoughtful to everybody.  Rosie was a very special lady.
I know she is in Heaven.

Rosie was so kind, always wanted to make sure no child went hungry. The kindest person I have ever met, she earned her angel wings a long time ago, now she can truly fly.
