Ruby Irene Kresbach Lee

Ruby Irene Lee loved life and lived it to the fullest. Ruby was born September 17, 1925 in Douglas, North Dakota, the only child to Francis and Matthew Kresbach. Ruby graduated from nursing school in Hibbing, Minnesota. She met Lewis Lee and married July 26, 1947. In 1949 they moved to Arizona. Ruby was a registered nurse and worked at the original Yuma County Hospital, Parkview Baptist and Yuma Regional Medical Center. After retiring, she volunteered at the hospital snack bar. Ruby was the first Crane school nurse from 1964 until retiring. She will be remembered for her smile and helping others.

Ruby was very faithful to her church. She was a religious education teacher, Eucharistic minister, reader and visited the homebound. Ruby was a devoted Catholic Daughter serving in both regional and state positions.

Ruby was a devoted wife, loving and caring mother of six children. She leaves behind five children: Marry Ann (Terry) Easterday, William (Sheila) Lee, Susanne (Mike) Whitson, Robert (Jackie) Lee, Thomas (Kristi) Lee, and Daughter-in-law Linda Lee. She has fourteen grandchildren and 18 great grandchild. Ruby was preceded in death by her parents; husband Lewis and son Jerome Lee.

Thanks to all her friends she leaves behind at Desert Rose and Vital Wellness.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Hospice of Yuma on 8Th Avenue or to the Catholic Daughters C/O St Francis of Assisi Church.

Visitation will held at St Francis of Assisi Church on Friday, Sept. 25, 2015 at 10:00am with Funeral Mass to follow at 10:30am.

Interment will be on Monday, Sept. 28, 2015 at 9:00am at Desert Lawn Memorial Park 1415 S. 1St Ave, Yuma, AZ 85364.
