Rudy Homer "Homer" Rodriguez

Rudy "Homer" Rodriguez went to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 23, 2014. He was born November 19, 1961 in Yuma, Arizona where he lived until he moved to Maricopa, Arizona with his sister Rebecca Rico and her family who lovingly cared for him 24/7. Rudy loved Music of all genres from 8 tracks to CD's. Singing and dancing is what he enjoyed doing most. He enjoyed every party he attended and was always surrounded by his loved ones throughout his journey on earth.

Rudy is survived by his hound diggity (dog) Lucky; sisters, Rebecca (Sammy) Rico, Theresa (Ruben) Lujan, Mary (Albert) Herrera, Ruth Jimenez; brother, Ruben (Pearl) Rodriguez; and numerous family members. He was preceded in death by his Parents, John and Amada Rodriguez; brothers, John Rodriguez Jr. and Jimmy Rodriguez; and sister Marie Ochoa.

Viewing will be held on Thursday, January 30, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Johnsons Mortuary, 1415 S 1st Avenue, Yuma. Funeral Mass will take place on Friday, January 31, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 1815 S. 8th Ave., Yuma. Burial following at Desert Lawn Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be Frank Luz, Joe Perez, Eric Perez, Joshua Perez, Randy Rodriguez, Roger Gomez.
