Ruth Ann Corpuz

Ruth Ann Corpuz, 67 went with God on Wednesday, November 11, 2015 in Yuma, Arizona. Born Monday, July 19, 1948 in Kimberly, Nevada to Edwin and Virginia. Ruthie is survived by Tom Corpuz, her husband of 45 years; daughters, Jacqueline (Shawn) Jordan and Mechelle Corpuz; son, Antonio Corpuz; grandchildren, Joseph Corpuz, Edwin Tovar, Alexandrea Trujillo, Derek Trujillo and Sarah Jordan; and great-grandchildren, Nicholas Corpuz, Julian Tovar and Canaan Corpuz.

Ruthie was orphaned at the age of 14. Ruthie gained strength and a courage that would serve her throughout her life; she defended and loved her kids in that way. Ruthie attended Lambson Business College in Phoenix and worked as a civil service employee at the YPG Fire Dept. until she retired in 2000.

Visitation will be on Sunday, November 15, 2015 from 5:00 - 9:00 pm at Funeraria Del Angel Kammann Chapel, 795 W. 28t St. in Yuma, with the Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be on Monday, November 16, 2015 at 10:00 am at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church.

Pallbearers include, Chris Corpuz, Ramon Trujillo, Pat Brown, Jr., Javier Apostel, Tony Corpuz, Joseph Corpuz, Edwin Tovar, Victor Corpuz and Chris Angulo.

Private cremation entrusted to Funeraria Del Angel at a later date.
