

Elaine was a graduate of Ajo High School where she was member of the marching band. She married her high school sweetheart, Raymond Middaugh, on April 4, 1958. They were married for 46 years before his death in 2004.
Elaine was a wife, a mother, a sister, an aunt, a grandmother and a great-grandmother who had an unwavering faith in God. She was always seeking to serve the Lord better and her prayer for her family (all) was that each would love Jesus so much that everything else was second. Elaine’s support for her family allowed them to flourish and grow, always a presence at all of their activities as well as a constant source of comfort and love.
Elaine was predeceased by her parents and her husband, as well as her brother, Leon Goar and two nephews: Scott Goar and Mark Udell.
She will be lovingly remembered by her brother; Lionel (Joan) Goar, her sister; Myrna (Donald) Udell, daughter; Lynne (Marty) Ford, her sons; Todd (Teresa) Middaugh, Jason (Jennifer Wammack) Middaugh, her grandsons; Nick (Modesta) Ford, Gavin (Carmen) Middaugh and Lane Middaugh and granddaughters; Ashley (Garrett) Gist, Janna (AJ) Wharton and Catherine (Sam) Field. As well as great-grandchildren, Lily, Harlow and Kyren Gist, Gunner, Killian and Tallula Wharton and Camille and Risden Field and many beloved nieces and nephews and former daughter-in-law Georgianna (Gary) Bruso.
A private graveside service will be held at 9:00 am on Tuesday, October 10, 2023, at Desert Lawn Memorial Park in Yuma, AZ. A public celebration of life will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, October 14, 2023, at 11am at Zion Church, 2445 E. 24th Street, Yuma, AZ 85365.
