Born in Little Lake (near Marquette) Michigan, on January 26, 1960 to Douglas Allan Wolcott and Gayla Belle (Manning) Wolcott, Stan was the third of six children. He grew up in Sault Ste Marie and Midland, Michigan.
He graduated from Midland High School in 1978. Like his daughter, Stan was an alum of Michigan State University. He was a Spartans fan to the very end.
Stan was preceded in death by grandmother Minnie (Gill) Manning, older brother Bill Wolcott, father Doug, mother Gayla, and uncle Bill Manning. He is survived by siblings Judy, Doug jr., Tom, Dan, and many nieces and nephews. He is mourned by daughter Lennon Michelle Hernandez Wolcott and her mother Melinda Hernandez, as well as lifelong friend Bob Loescher.
Stan was passionate about music, hockey, soccer, and being involved with his community. A talented chef, his cooking created lasting memories.
