Willie J. Humphries, 97, closed her eyes in death on Tuesday, August 26, 2014 in El Cajon, CA and opened them in heaven, to meet her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Willie was born November 13, 1916 in Etawa County, Alabama. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Lemon Grove, CA.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Ralph Humphries; and daughter, Virginia Kay Warring. She is survived by her sons, Wayne Humphries of La Mesa, CA and Gary Humphries of Yuma, AZ; daughter, Gail Jones of La Mesa, CA; 13 grandchildren; 36 great grandchildren; and 7 great-great grandchildren.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 13, 2014 at Johnson Mortuary, 1415 S. 1st Avenue, Yuma, Arizona.
Pallbearers: Naaman Humphries, Gary Humphries, James Humphries, Wyatt Humphries, Bud Davis, and Coby Villegas.
