He was born February 21, 1939 in Beallsville, son of the late Stanley Walter Majesky and Vivian Harris Majesky.
Stan had received a BA from Waynesburg University and a Masters from the California University of Pennsylvania.
He worked for the Commonwealth of PA, Department of Labor as an office manager. Before that he was a social studies teacher at Mapletown High School and Waynesburg Central High School.
Stan had served in the United States Army and in the USAR, 429 Engineers Troop B Battalion, of Washington for 23 years, retiring as a First Sergeant.
He was a member of St. Katherine Drexel Parish, and the American Legion Post #330, Waynesburg.
Stan played minor league baseball from 1961 to 1963, was MVP in the Carolina League Class A ball. He also played for Sol Mintz in the 1970’s, won 5 USSA state titles and several world tournaments, and at one time he was a manager for the Waynesburg High School baseball team.
On September 9, 1961 he married Dolores Jean Ames, who survives.
Also surviving are three daughters, Jody Mullis of Washington, Lisa (Bill) Richmond of Washington, and Beth (James “Andy”) Meyers of Richeyville; five grandchildren, Alicia (Cody) Wyland, Adam (Brittannee) Denman, Tyler Denman, all of Washington, Emily Meyers and Noah Meyers both of Richeyville; three great grandchildren, Hailey, Caroline and Lukas Wyland all of Washington.
