Charlotte Carolyn Morrow Sizemore,86, a resident of Greensboro, NC passed away on April 11, 2021 at her home after a period of declining health. She was born January 20, 1935 in Bishop, Virginia, the daughter of Frank and Alma Morrow. Charlotte was a graduate of McClains Business College in Bluefield, Va. She worked for First Union National Bank for 35 years and he loved the customers and her friends she made there. She was a member of Christ Wesleyan Church until her health declined and she could no longer get out. She was a quiet and faithful servant for others at church and throughout the community. She made some wonderful memories while traveling with her buddies from church who enjoyed going to the buffet line with her. She was a thrifty gal who loved double coupon day at Harris Teeter and could find a deal wherever she went. She loved her Washington Redskins and Virginia Cavaliers.
Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Mary Ave Morrow, Dottie Morrow Litten, Patricia Morrow Hope and brothers, Paul Morrow and Donnie Morrow. She is survived by her husband of 62 years; Jack Sizemore. Daughter: Becky Sizemore Clary and her husband T.L. Clary of Greensboro. 3 grandchildren: Nicole Helms (Scott Helms), Hunter Clary and Conner Clary. 3 great-grandchildren: Emma Helms, J.D. Helms and Isla Carolyn Helms. She is survived by her sister Ann Parks. She loved her nephews and they always had a special place in her heart.
Charlotte was a coal-miner’s daughter, she had great love for her family and friends. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her favorite thing to do was to spend time with all her grandchildren and great- grandchildren. She had the most contagious laugh and enjoyed the little things in life like watching soap operas and a good Klondike bar. She was the most generous woman to her family and friends, but never wanting anything for herself. She did not care about earthly things, but found joy in helping her friends and family with whatever they needed.
The family will receive friends at Christ Wesleyan Church (2400 S. Holden Rd, Greensboro NC 27407) on Thursday at 12pm until service time. Funeral Services will be held after visitation at 1pm conducted by the Reverend Ken Klein. Interment will follow at Guilford Memorial Park.
Many thanks to her wonderful caregivers who loved her so. Your kindness to her in her last months will always be remembered.
