Joseph Franklin Rhinock, 91, died April 22, 2021 from complications related to dementia, in Memphis, TN.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Sharleen Johnson Rhinock.
He was born and raised in Lima, OH. He served in the United States Air Force, had a long career with Ex-Cello Corporation, then retired to Chattanooga, TN, where he and his wife resided for 32 years. His parents were Franklin Sylvanus Rhinock and Stella Eva Smith who had six children. Only his sister, Mary Rhinock Pinch, survives in California. He joined the Episcopal Church in 1999. He was also a 22 year survivor of lung cancer.
He is survived by his immediate family: stepson, Michael Joseph Wooten, grandchildren: Sharla Wooten Carsley (her husband, Jacob and two children) and Joseph Zebulon Wooten (all of Memphis), and his daughter, Karen Rhinock, who lives in Ontario. Services will be held at Chiles-Laman Funeral Home in Lima, OH.
