Shirley Dangremond, age 82 of Hamilton, passed away peacefully on June 6, 2021. Shirley had a green thumb, and could often be found tending to her flowerbeds where she grew colorful plants of all kinds. Her kids knew that they could always rely on her when it came to when to plant certain flowers and when they would need to be trimmed. She had been a member of Haven Reformed Church since 1959, where she played the organ for the kid’s programs many years ago, and participated in the choir. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, and brought joy to the lives of all who knew her. Shirley was preceded in death by her son Daryl Dangremond in 2009. She is survived by her husband of 61 years David; Children: Deb and Mike Tyink, Dean and Liz Dangremond; 8 grandchildren; 1 great-grandson; Brothers: Howard and Carol VanderPoppen, Dale and Carla VanderPoppen, Delvin and Mary VanderPoppen, Mark VanderPoppen. A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 17, 2021 at Haven Reformed Church, 4691 Oak St in Hamilton, at 1:00pm, followed by a gathering of fellowship at church.
