Elizabeth was born in Washington D.C. on August 28, 1942 to David and Catherine McNamara King. She graduated from Flushing High School in Flushing NY and held a degree in Business Administration from Dutchess Community College.
Elizabeth was a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother, and steadfast friend. She dedicated her career to child care, first as director of the Blooming Grove Day Care Center
and later as a staunch advocate in her position as director of The Orange County Child Care Counsel. She enjoyed spending her free time gardening, golfing, and reading a good book poolside.
She is survived by her beloved sons Michael E. and his wife Nancy L. Kuriplach of Saugerties, NY and Matthew A. Kuriplach and his partner Kristy Manna of New Windsor, NY; sisters Susan Cavanaugh and Joan Burke, and a brother David King; grandchildren Austin and Ethan Kuriplach; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her devoted husband, Andrew Kuriplach, and her beloved son, Jason Kuriplach. Visitation will be held on Saturday June 12th from 3 to 7 p.m. at the David T. Ferguson Home, 20 North St. Washingtonville, NY 10992.
