Born June 7, 1936 in Wilsonville to Harry Burneil “Pete” and Virginia May “June” (Stiller) Templeton, she married Hillis C. “Red” Lawson on November 7, 1953 in Pekin. He died April 27, 1975. She later married Charles W. Marshall on August 10, 1989 in Warsaw, Missouri. He died February 7, 1992. She last married Donald Dean Larimore on June 7, 1994 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Surviving are her husband, Dean Larimore of Pekin; one son, Gary Lawson of Pekin; one daughter, Carol (Tim) Reed of Pekin; two granddaughters, Mary (Mark Ghidina) Schneider and Amy (Jeff) Frank, both of Pekin; one grandson, Daniel (Angie) Reed of Pekin; two great-grandchildren, Malorie (Aaron) Bramm and Andrew Schneider, both of Pekin; two great-great-grandsons, Francisco “Frankie” and Elliot; and one sister, Roberta Montgomery of Pekin.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands; one son, Mark Lawson; and one sister, Juanita Appleyard.
Bonnie worked for Hoyle Transportation in Pekin as a bus driver for over 25 years, retiring in 1998.
She was a member of Bayview Baptist Church in Washington.
Bonnie enjoyed quilting, square dancing, genealogy and making life photo albums for her children and grandchildren. Her greatest joy was her great-great-grandsons, “Frankie” and Elliot.
Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday, July 19, 2021 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Pastor Randy Justus will officiate. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin.
