Connie was born July 31, 1924 in New York to Clifford Boynton Savage and Constance Marguerite Savage. The family later moved to Florida, and she attended Palm Beach Community High School. She went on to attend Florida State University with a degree in political science. She excelled on the women’s tennis team and was a member of the Theta sorority, where she acquired many lifelong friends. Connie was an active member of PEO, Junior League, and other various community activities. She was also a deacon at the Lakeside Presbyterian Church of West Palm Beach, Florida.
She is survived by her three daughters, Constance Ann Dalton, Nancy Savage Dalton, and Janet Marguerite Dalton, all of West Palm Beach, Florida, and her three grandchildren, Paige Dalton Espy (Enrique), Jacqueline Evan Espy, and Grace Gwyneth Espy. She is also survived by her four-legged companion of 12 years, Lily. She is preceded in death by her sister, Maribel Reynolds.
The family is having a private service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice. The family would like to thank her caregivers of the last five years, Kethic Thegenous, Reva Wright, and Clare Jackson of Morse Life, for their loving care and companionship, as well as Dr. James Vanek and his dedicated staff, Sue and Carol.
Connie will be remembered for her passion for life and wonderful sense of humor. She will be missed deeply by those who knew her.
