Lerna is survived by her husband, Rene C. Butiu; her son Rich Butiu (Crystal Butiu); and her son Pierre Butiu; her sister Lelita David, her sister Lilia David, her brother Alfred Yumul, her brother Edgar Yumul, her sister Ludy Samia, her brother Esper Yumul, her brother Lito Yumul and her brother Pedro Yumul.
A visitation for Lerna will be held Wednesday, October 27, 2021 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Glendale Funeral Home, 511 South Central Avenue, Glendale, CA 91204. A visitation will occur Thursday, October 28, 2021 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM, 511 South Central Avenue, Glendale, CA 91204. A funeral mass will occur Friday, October 29, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Dominic Catholic Church, 2002 Merton Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90041. A graveside service will occur Friday, October 29, 2021 from 11:45 AM to 12:30 PM at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, 6300 Forest Lawn Drive, Los Angeles, CA 90068.
