Alice was kind, generous, loving and creative. She was born in Ormstown, Quebec on September 30, 1942 to the late John Hamilton and Elizabeth Todd and grew up in Huntingdon, Quebec. As a devoted teacher, Alice taught school for many years. She loved art and earned her Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts. She completed many beautiful drawings and paintings. She loved rug hooking, dyed her own wool and made her own patterns. Alice also loved animals.
Predeceased by her brother Bill and her brother-in-law Curtis Myers, Alice will be greatly missed by her sister Betty Ann, brother Art (Lori), nieces Vicki (Andrew), Genii (Derek), Olivia and Diane (Mark), nephew John, grandnieces Lauren and Jenna, grandnephews Alex and Jack and sister-in-law Lorna MacGillivray.
We wish to thank Nancy Grant, Alice’s cousin, for all she did to help Alice during her illness. We also wish to thank the staff at 1st floor Vigi Dollard des Ormeaux and other caregivers. Alice will be greatly missed by us all.
