Gene Clowdus, age 95, of Brent, Alabama passed away on Thursday May 9, 2019. Gene was born October 25, 1923 to Chandler and Maude Clowdus. He is survived by his wife; Betty Ruth Clowdus, two daughters; Gale Richardson(Lynn)and Betty Gene Eldridge, one sister; Ellen Maddox(Ronnie), Four grandchildren; Kelly Harper(Mike), Dustin Conaway, Chase Richardson(Melissa) and Eryn Shoemaker and seven great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and three sisters.
Mr. Clowdus was a long time resident in Bibb Co. He was A Veteran of WWII., Retired from Alabama Power as a General Manager in Centreville , Al. and he was a member of the local Masonic lodge.
A visitation will be held Tuesday May 14th 2019 from 10-11am @ Rockco Funeral Home in Centreville, Al. Funeral Services will be held @ 11am at the Funeral Home and burial will be at Cahaba Hills Cemetery in West Blocton, Al. Pallbearers Will Be Dustin Conaway, Chase Richardson, Mike Harper, Bowen Harper, Ken Lindsey & Melvin Lindsey
