Glenda Kay (Dalrymple) Ketzenberg, 69, of Yakima passed away unexpectedly on October 26, 2019. She was born on June 12, 1950 in Lewiston, Idaho to Harvey and Colleen Dalyrmple. Glenda grew up in Yakima and graduated from AC Davis High School in 1968.
Glenda was always a hard worker, working as a cashier for several local businesses. She thrived at helping others, which she was still doing as a Direct Support Specialist at Community Living. She loved her family and always wanted to be around them. She loved to travel and take vacations with her husband Rob and older sister Candy, stopping a numerous casinos along the way. Glenda was an exceptional cake decorator and created many beautiful cakes for weddings and birthdays. She was an avid Seahawks fan and never met a pair of Sketchers she didn’t like. Glenda loved to collect bears of any type and compiled a large collection of them.
Glenda is preceded in death by her younger brother Floyd Dalrymple, mother Colleen Dalrymple and father Harvey Dalrymple. She is survived by her husband Rob Ketzenberg of 43 years, her sons Don Ketzenberg and his wife Nancy, Jerry Ketzenberg and his wife Rochelle and Bill Ketzenberg, sister Candy Wilson, brother Harvey Dalrymple and his wife Suzanne, grandsons Heston Ketzenberg and his wife Sarah, Justin Ketzenberg, granddaughters Emily Ketzenberg and Holly Ketzenberg, and numerous great grandchildren.
Anyone who met Glenda probably shares with the family that she is greatly loved and will be severely missed.
A Viewing will be held at Keith and Keith Funeral Home on Saturday November 2, 2019 from 1:00-4:00 pm.
