Rosanne Marita (Vanacker) Fluke, dear wife, daughter, and sister, passed away on November 28, 2019 at age 63. She was born to Albert E. and Helen C. (Nemeth) Vanacker on December 15, 1955 in Lansing, Michigan.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Helen; mother-in-law, Frances Fluke; father-in-law, K. Donald Fluke; brother-in-law, Tim Fluke, and sister-in-law, April Martin.
Left to cherish her in memory are her husband, Mark K. Fluke; daughter, Nichole Fluke (Frank Morzinski); sisters, Maria Vanacker (Lawrence Reynolds), Charlene Vanacker (David McFarlane), Sharon Decker (Michael), and Marti Townsend; brothers, Raymond Vanacker, Donald Vanacker, and Joseph Vanacker; sister-in-law, Diane (Ed) Pierce; nieces and nephews, Jason (Ashley Cox) Vanacker, Pamela (Norman) Kaske, Alex Townsend, and Brandon Townsend and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Rosanne was a kind, gentle soul. She could make friends with anyone and never had a negative word against anyone. She was very cheery and upbeat. She wanted to treat people how she would like to be treated. For over twenty years she was a caregiver for several children. Of all of her jobs, caring for children was not a job but a vocation that she treasured. She also dearly loved her nieces and nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews.
Although an avid reader and homebody, she loved boating, MSU sports, Detroit Lions football, trips with her husband, Mark, and visiting with family when she could.
Throughout her life she trusted in God, rarely complaining, even under the heavy burden of illnesses and other trials of life.
She appreciated all the hugs and care of the staff at Sparrow Hospital and at the Hospice of Lansing. The family is also grateful to all who loved and cared for her.
