He was born December 24, 1957 to the late Billy Pat and Alva Jean Amason Walden in El Dorado, AR. Toby grew up playing the guitar and singing and performed in several bands during the 70’s and 80’s.
He enjoyed riding motorcycles, fishing, hunting, mud riding and the outdoors in general. His favorite past time was guns, but he also enjoyed pickin and drinking a beer with his music buddies. Toby was the owner of Willie's Oasis and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his wife, Nicki Walden of Strong; three sons, Luke Walden (Beth) of Strong, Zach Walden of Van Buren, Seth Hatcher of Crossett; one daughter, Kristi Johnson (Jeremiah) of Rawlings, WY; one brother, Steve Pat Walden (Cindy) of Calion; one sister, Cindy Amadee (Sid) of Elkins, AR; and eight grandchildren, Abbi Cook, Hunter Walden, Jackson Stell, Gracelynn Stell, Addison Hatcher, Heather Johnson, Cameron Johnson, and Caleb Johnson.
Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Monday, January 6, 2020 at Young's Funeral Directors.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Young's Chapel. Burial will follow at Bethel Primitive Baptist Cemetery under the direction of Young's Funeral Directors.
Serving as pallbearers are Charles Hays, Mark Davis, Mike Grider, Dennis “Bucket” Robinson, Rock Hansen and Don Hall. Honorary pallbearers are David Hudson, Tommy Hatcher, Craig Clark and Shane Bolton.
