Jennie was born in Massachusetts to Faith and Dorance Ward on March 16, 1967. She went to school at Keefe Technical School in Framingham, MA. Later, Jennie moved to the Atlanta, GA area where her mother then resided. She always considered Massachusetts home too, and continued to stay connected with her many friends there.
Jennie was a deeply devoted daughter, attending to and caring for her mother over the years she was ill. Jennie was all about people, and cared deeply about her family and friends. She always had a great sense of humor and a strong point of view. Loyal, with a beautiful and kind heart is how those close to Jennie describe her.
"Grateful", said one of her last social media posts, and Jennie was truly grateful for the outpouring of support from so many as she fought to be well.
Left to cherish her memory are her sister Linda, and many dear cousins, aunts, and friends. She is also survived by her goddaughter Brianna Hutchens; her godson Stephen Harper; and friends Michael Harper and Lisa Roddy, who provided so much care during her illness.
We will all miss Jennie very much.
Jennie is preceded in death by her Father, Dorance Ward, and her mother, Faith Ward.
