Born in Alexandria VA, Alicia moved with her family at the age of seven to Massachusetts to Sandwich after having lived in the South Shore since she was an infant. She loved the Cape and it was home to her.
Alicia attended the Henry T. Wing School, and went on to graduate from Upper Cape Tech in 2001. Through high school, Alicia found fulfillment working with disabled children and proudly received a scholarship through The May Institute.
Despite her personal battle with alcohol addiction, Alicia had a heart full of love: for her family and friends; for music, dancing and making people smile and laugh; for cooking for those she cherished; and, for children and babies, especially her nephew a.k.a. “Little Monkey Boy”, Aiden. Even in becoming a waitress, Alicia found that she was able to help and serve others.
Alicia is survived by her mother, Deirdre Bushman, father John Howland, step-father Dana Lupica, brother Michael Bushman, sister Cristina Lupica, nephew Aiden Sullivan, grandmother Elizabeth A. Bushman, aunts Elizabeth M. Bushman and Susan Pearson, cousin Michelle Pearson, her boyfriend and love Stephen "Fitzy" Fitzpatrick, and many beloved aunts, uncle, cousins, and friends.
