Garry was born on April 21, 1960 in Nashville, TN to Linda Preis and Barry Zeitlin. Garry graduated from MBA in 1978, where he excelled in both academics and golf. He earned a BS Degree in Finance in 1982 from the University of Florida. Following his graduation, he moved to Miami where he worked at Barnett Bank in the finance department.
Returning to Nashville, Garry joined his father in his construction business. Some years later, he founded his own homebuilding company, Garry Zeitlin Construction. What Garry most enjoyed, however, was working together with his father and brothers in the family business. He was involved in the community, serving on the board of Cystic Fibrosis and in many other local fundraisers. An avid sports fan, he especially loved watching the Gators and the Titans.
Garry was kind and thoughtful, and enjoyed his family and the many friendships he developed over the years. He will be sorely missed by all.

Garry will be remembered as a wonderful son, brother, uncle, and friend. He is survived by his mother and father, Linda and Barry Zeitlin, brother, Todd Zeitlin (Kathy), nephew, Brandon Zeitlin, aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends.
