Jeff grew up a child of the Air Force, which allowed him the opportunity to live around the world. He grew up playing basketball, football, and golf. Golf was his favorite and he won many awards throughout the years. He graduated from Del Valle High School in 1973. He then joined the US Air Force, where he served from 1973-1984 earning the rank of Staff Sgt. While in the Air Force, Jeff continued his love for playing football, but more importantly his love for playing golf. He won many tournaments while serving in San Vito, Italy. After the military, he made a career out of insurance. He worked as a claims adjuster at multiple companies and worked for South Austin Medical Clinic, making sure they got paid by the insurance companies.
Jeff’s main goal in life was making others smile and making sure that they were doing ok. He was known for his random and simple acts of kindness, whether they were just because or he knew somebody needed some help or a pick-me-up. He was also known for his jokes and one-liners. You never knew what was going to come out next. Haha. No matter what he was doing, his favorite reward was smiles. His passions for golf and football continued, especially college football. Hook’em Horns! Oh...and we can’t forget his Coca-Cola. He always had a cold can with a straw.
Jeff was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Shirley Holler. He is survived by his daughter, Michelle Holler; his son, Michael Holler and Laci; granddaughters, Kacee, Ryleigh, Dakotah, Caidence, and Felicity; great-granddaughter, Nevaeh; sister Nikki Grant and Brian; nephew, David Holler and Misty; multiple great nieces and nephews; and other extended family and friends.
At this time, a Memorial service is being planned for a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Onion Creek Baptist Church or Disabled American Veterans.
