She was born September 27, 1927 and was the youngest child of Anthony and Anna Cocco.
Connie spent the majority of her life as a homemaker, tending to the needs of her parents and children. When her youngest child left home for college, she decided that was the perfect time to "go back to work" after a 30 year absence and became a teacher's aide at the Cerebral Palsy Center in Belleville, where she brought joy to many students and co-workers.
She proudly served as a volunteer member of the Clara Mass Auxiliary for over 25 years.
Connie was predeceased by her husband, Michael and her siblings Helen, Joseph, Frank, Paris and Nicholas.
She is survived by her children Michelle Dolan, and husband Dave Malefsky, Stephen Santasieri and his wife Sherri, Mark Santasieri and his wife Colette, grandchildren Michael, Francis, Andi, Stephen, Maria, Joseph, great granddaughter Ada, several nieces and nephews, as well as many friends, all who held a special place in her heart.
Connie was a gracious host, who opened her home to everyone. She was truly one of a kind and will be missed.
Due to the current health crisis, funeral arrangements will be private under the direction of the LaMonica Memorial Home in Livingston. However, as soon as can be done safely, there will be a funeral mass and celebration of Connie's life at St. Anthony's Church, Belleville, NJ.
