Sue was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She enjoyed crocheting/knitting, gambling, bingo, and going to the boats. Vivian was one of Walmart’s best customers. She also loved spending time with her family. Sue was a hard worker, she worked for the Daily Sentinel throwing papers for 20 years and drove a school bus for NISD for over 30 years.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Lutherine Honea Hill; husband, Garland Hill, Sr.; daughter, Donna Sue Hill; son, Garland Hill Jr. (Bubba); brother, Marlin Lynn Hill.
She is survived by children; Hope Banks and husband Gary of Garrison, TX, Lonnie Hill and wife Melissa of Douglass, TX, Teresa Allen and husband John of Carrollton, TX; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters and brothers, Lois Harkey of Douglass, Francis and Bobby Costlow of Henderson, TX, Liz Cooke of Henderson, TX, Patsy Dean of Center, TX, Wayne and Sharon Dean of Gains, Alabama, George Henry and Carolyn Slay of Douglass, TX, Cathy and Rusty Martin of Carthage, TX; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held, 11:00 AM, Friday, January 8, 2021, Cason Monk-Metcalf Sunset Chapel. Interment will follow at Bethel Cemetery. Friends and family are invited to a visitation, 10:00 until 11:00 AM, prior to the service, Cason Monk-Metcalf, located at 5400 North Street in Nacogdoches.
