Debbie and family, we were all shocked here in Houston with the news about your mom. All your Winnie buds in the Bluebonnets and in Texas W want to send you our prayers and pray that God will lay his hands on you and give you peace during these times. I can still remember her quick wit while joking around the rally hall and of course you better not get crosswise with her when playing skip Bo. Debbie & Family, We're so sorry for your loss. Auntie Lois was quite the lady. I recall many happy memories of her when your family would come to visit the 'Canadian clan'.You always knew something exciting would happen with her around! I will always remember sitting around the dining room table at Grandma and Grandpa Wilson's house in Renfrew, giving her a book to read out loud, listening to her awesome accent :-) Know our hearts are with you as you remember, celebrate & say goodbye. Debbie, so sorry to hear about your mother. I was fortunate enough to have known her for the past several years and she was always here for me to talk to. We shared many fun times, from garage sales with a man trying on bathing suites and angel wings , Halloween in the neighborhood or just sharing the days events I think of you both daily and have even caught myself asking her opinion before I make changes in the house. Please know I am here for you if you need anything, and keeping you both in my prayers

Debbie our thoughts are with you. Auntie Lois passing saddens us all but we remember all the fun we had together when she came back to Canada. She was always one with a the quick wit to poke good natured fun and enjoyed receiving the teasing as well. Our love and prayers are with Debbie. She is a wonderful daughter who lovingly cared for her mother. Lois was a special sister-in-law who added so much to our family. We will always remember the many summer vacations camping in Grandma's yard to a trip to Las Vegas and Lois and I learned to pull the one-armed bandit. She was always up to new adventures and we found many.. She will be missed and I am thankful she married my big brother George.

Debbie and Mike, Auntie Lois was always ready with a smile, and always ready to tell a tale or listen to one, and it was always a pleasure when you came to visit, or when we could visit you in Houston. Debbie: and family, I have spent the last couple of days remembering Auntie Lois. She always had a ready smile and quick to laugh at a joke or a funny story. I was always glad to see her when she came back to Canada and was looking forward to her coming home(as she referred to it)again this summer. I had the good fortune of spending time with Auntie Lois and Debbie 5 years or so, when Jim and I went to Houston for a holiday. Over the years I had heard so much about Houston, that Jim and I went down to spend some time with Walkers. It was a delight to see the many things that I had heard so much about. As an adult I was able to get to know my Aunt and cousin. We had such a wonderful time down there & did not want to come home. It's not every day that you get to say Good Night to your Aunt and see her again in the morning. I admired her spirit and her independent nature. I shall sit and have a cup of coffee at the time of the funeral and pretend I'm smoking a cigarette in her honor. I was blessed to have known her and her spirit lives on, in all those, that knew and loved her. Both Jim and I are thinking of you Debbie; though words can not express adequately our sorrow at Auntie Lois's passing. A big hug to you.

Debbie & family, The first thing that came to mind when I heard that your Mom, Auntie Lois had passed was a picture of her and Mom sitting at the kitchen table at the family farm sharing cigarettes and laughing....they would never tell me what they were laughing about but I am sure they are back at it again. I am so sorry that she was not able to return back home one last time as she had planned, she would have like the lilacs that will be blooming during the time she would have been here. I know that your Mom was a big part of your life Debbie, and my thoughts will be with you in the coming days.Take care and hold your memories close.

Lois has been volunteering with us every Tuesday afternoon, here at Beaumont Hospital , Grosse Pointe. She brought her warm smile, and vibrant personality with her to our front desk each week. Lois was a wonderful and warm ambassador to all of our patients and visitors. She had a nice way of making people feel welcome. She will be missed by us all, and Tuesday will not be the same without her. Warmly, Betsy Schulte, Director of Volunteer Services, Heather and Carol, along with all of her fellow volunteers!

Love you Gigi, Tenley, Justin, and I are forever grateful for having the opportunity to meet you. You have the most amazing daughter and son-in-law. You are so very loved.

My Aunt Lois was a very special, kind, and wonderful person. She always had a smile and a good word for you. My family and I cherish the time we got to spend with her and Uncle George when they lived in Colorado. My son, Matt, loved being with them. He would go over to their house in the summer to help Auntie Lois pick strawberries from her garden. Lois' bucket would always be full and Matt's stomach would be full too (though there were very few strawberries in his bucket!). She would laugh and the two of them would walk back into the house arm in arm. She and my mother, Mary, were very close. They were more like sisters than sisters-in-law. You will always have a special place in my heart and I will always think of you and smile. My thoughts, prayers, and love to Debbie and Mike. Love you Auntie Lois!
