A devoted daughter, friend, and animal lover, Brenda touched the lives of those around her with kindness and warmth.
She was a longtime member of Kenwood First Baptist Church in Fayetteville, where her faith was a source of strength and comfort. Brenda found joy in life’s simple pleasures—cherishing time spent with her beloved mother, enjoying window-shopping, and sharing countless happy moments with her loyal dog, Charlie, a Lab mix who was always by her side. As a homemaker, she created a loving and welcoming space for those she held dear. Brenda’s presence will be deeply missed, but her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her partner and husband of over 34 years, Robert Huber; mother, Bobbie Ann Drake; sisters, Kay Drake and Glenda Drake and nephew, Timothy “T.C. Drake. She was preceded in death by her father, William Clark Drake.
Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Whitley-Garner Funeral Home Tuesday, February 18 at 2:00 pm with the family receiving friends from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. Interment will follow in Rosehaven Memorial Park.
