

Nancy’s family announces her peaceful passing on May 10, 2025 in Edmonton, AB, Canada.
Nancy was born in Ireland at home in Mooretown, Delvin. She migrated to Canada and married Patrick Murray in 1958. Together they had 6 children.
Nancy will be most remembered for her ability to connect with people, her ready smiles, jokes, generosity, and her love of telling a good story. Throughout her lifetime, Nancy travelled to New Zealand, Australia, Thailand, as well as travel within Ireland and Canada.
Nancy was predeceased by her parents, Michael and Margaret Cully, husband Paddy Murray, sister Connie and brother-in-law Steve Grbavec, brother Vincent Cully and sister-in-law Mary, brother Peter Cully, brother-in-law John Harris, sister Josephine Cully, and granddaughter Clara Murray.
Nancy was loved dearly and will be forever missed by her children and their families. Maggie Murray (Norm Bell), Kathleen (Rick) Gauthier, Joanne (Steve) Jory, Michael (Marjorie) Murray, Barbara Murray (Jill Christie), Kevin Murray (Jacqueline Pelletier).
Also missed by her grandchildren, Rachelle Gauthier (JD Holmes), Kalinda Gauthier (Jon Capus), Raymond Gauthier, Sarah Murray, Andrew Murray, Linnéa Murray, and Liam Murray.
She was also loved and will be missed by her brother Richard (Nancy) Cully, sister Cecilia Harris, sister-in-law Mary Cully, and her many nieces and nephews in Ireland and Canada.
The family wishes to thank the staff at both Rosedale Supportive Living and Allen Gray Continuing Care in Edmonton for their kindness and the exemplary care they gave to our Mummy during these past few years.
We know that Nancy loved to wear fun clothing, colorful, interesting and always with a little sparkle. We invite you to do the same during the celebration of her life events.
A Celebration of Life for Annie will be held Tuesday, May 20, 2025 from 10:00 AM at Hainstock's Funeral Home & Crematorium, 9810 34th Ave, Edmonton, AB T6E6L1
