

had an easy death on September 13th, at the age of 100 -1/2 years, in her apartment with her daughters next to her. For the past 10 years she enjoyed life at Canterbury Woods in Williamsville where she made many new friends.
Full of color, love and kindness, she wanted everything full blast!
Always bearing gifts and ready for fun.
She loved to eat especially lobster or chicken wings.
She also loved to shop especially for shoes…..
She savored life and spices.
Harriet ran her husband’s (Dr. George Rosenfeld) pediatric and allergy practice which served Cheektowaga for 50 years.
“Eeeee gods and little catfishes. Hold your little horses! “
An amateur photographer, she loved roaming the world as well as upstate New York with her camera.
Harriet grew up in Halifax, Nova Scotia – and the Maritimes have a very favored place in her life and memory.
Her daughters and extended family plan to travel to Canada in a few months, to scatter her ashes in some of her favorite places along the shore and beloved spots in Nova Scotia.
She was dearly loved by her daughters and their spouses; Barbara and Dr. Jeffrey Mandel, Judy Rosenfeld and Gregory Shank, and Laura Rosenfeld and William Clark Baughan. She will be missed and loved always by her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
