Dear Henryka:

It is with extreme sadness that  we offer our sincerest condolences to you and the Bell family on the passing of Aron, a true Jewish hero. We  feel blessed to have been Aron’s friend and to have witnessed first-hand his love for Judaism and his loving wife Henryka. We pay tribute to his memorable contributions to the State of Israel and his staunch advocacy for the Jewish people.  We were very fortunate to have had the privilege of sharing many happy moments with Aron and Henryka. Very few people can lay claim to the legacy Aron has left behind. And so  we acknowledge his lifelong service as a warrior for the nation of Zion.  May he rest in peace and may you know no more sorrows.

Aron was a true Jewish hero, a family icon , the last of the Bielski Brothers who will be sorely missed. 
Henryka you have taken great care of Aron and we are all thankful to you.
Aron will always be in our hearts and thoughts. He has given much strength to the Jewish People.

Baruch Dayan Haemet. Sherry and I enjoyed seeing Aron and Henryka during the Winters in Palm Beach. I made note of Aron’s fascination with the Reading of the Megillah on Purim. He listened to every word with Dedication and Fascination. After all, that was his story. The tables get turned and the Jews Hang Haman. The Bielski Brothers fought the Nazis very Hard. The Jews survived. The Jews have Freedom and Israel. Am Yisrael Chai! We already miss Aron, One of the Great Tough Jews!

Always loved seeing Aaron in Danny, z”l shul, (also pictured here second from right.  Aaron always greeted everyone with a big smile and good energy. 

He loved being there with Henryke and his friends.

Throughout my time knowing Mr.
Bell, I have been deeply touched by his inspiring presence. Mr.
Bell, your heroic legacy truly reflects how much you are valued and cherished. It has been a sincere privilege to care for you as your nurse. May your beautiful soul find rest and eternal peace in the embrace of everlasting love.

Aron's passing has brought an end to one fighter who helped to show how to keep people safe during a horrific time. He always spoke of how, with his brothers and fighters ,kept hundreds safe.
He surely will be missed by his family and friends, especially those who are connected to the "Bielski Brigade.

Our son Simcha Berel Dovid a”h, also known as Sam Belsky, who passed on September 27, 2018 (Chai Tishriei) was so proud to be a Belsky and so proud of Uncle Aron.  I am sure he was waiting to greet him in Gan Eden and exchange a few good jokes to make him smile.  You can see the resemblance, the Belsky (Bielski, Bell) genes are very strong.

We always looked forward to getting our Erev Shabbos call from Uncle Aron and Henryka each Friday.  It was always a highlight and something to look forward to.  He was the last member of the family and was cherished by all.  We made a point of visiting him as much as possible when we were in Miami for the winters.  We did not forget how he made sure to visit our father on the lower East Side as often as he could.  He gave him tremendous respect and was very proud of his Rabbinate.  We will all miss him very much.  He was a legend in our family, as are his brothers, and our children and grandchildren were very proud to meet him and hear about the Bielski story.  They write about it for school and read everything they can about them.

It has been one of the greatest honors of my life to get to know Aron, even for this brief season. I will be forever grateful for having had this experience.

I had the honor of meeting Aron through the kindness of his beloved wife, Henryka. What began as a simple invitation to learn about Kangen Water quickly became something far greater, an open door into a home filled with warmth, laughter, and love. From that very first dinner, I was welcomed not just as a guest, but as part of the family.
As a nurse, often running between long hours and with little support in America, Henryka made sure I was never left hungry, always offering me a seat at their table. And there was Aron — his smile gentle yet powerful, a light that seemed to brighten the entire room. Every visit, his warmth and presence reminded me that true family is not only the one you are born into, but also the one that embraces you with love and kindness.
Aron’s life was marked by strength and resilience, but what I will always remember most is how his simple smile carried so much love. That smile, and the spirit behind it, will forever live in my heart.

For two intense hours twice a week over a year, Aron recounted in detail the rush of events of The Bielski Brigade from the perspective of a child who saw his parents hauled off to their death at the hands of the Nazi invaders abetted by the local betrayers of the few Jewish families in that area of Belarus.  Aron suffered enormously as a child, even becoming mute after having guns put to his head to betray his brothers’ location in the forest - Aron never uttered a word.  After the passage of decades the sadness and loyalty continued to characterize Aron. As a friend he was the best! Loyal to those he loved and tireless in helping those who turned to him. Being in Aron’s presence was always a special treat and he never failed to impress you on his understanding of history and current events and his insights on the culture in which we live.  Many of us loved Aron and we will miss him enormously.

Aron was a very special warrior.He loved people and loved Israel.He was a man filled with Humolity and humanity and he would help anyone he can .
Aron went through alot in his life but he always had a smile ,a laugh and a twinkle in his eye .
We have had the privilege of knowing Aron over 25 years and were amazed how he shrugged off life's challenges and embraced life's beauty.
Henryka was a G-d send for Aron and a better mate he could not ask for .
Rest my friend in G--d's embrace.May your Neshama only go higher and higher!
