Ezaura P. Core (nee Sobral), of Orange, passed away on Tuesday, November 10, 2009, at the St. Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston. The services will be offered at the LaMonica Memorial Home 145 E. Mt. Pleasant Ave. Livingston, on Friday evening, November 13, at 8 pm. Visitation will take place on Thursday and Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Born in Newark, Ezaura lived in Bloomfield for 36 years before moving to Orange in 1977. She, along with her husband, Tom, owned and operated Core’s Tavern in Bloomfield, a family business dating back to 1936.She was the beloved wife of Thomas W. Core, Sr., loving mother of Thomas W. Core, Jr., and his wife Roseann, Kevin Core, and his wife Gina, and the late Glenn T. Core, cherished grandmother of Cristal, Candice, Thomas W. III, Christopher, and Jason, and dear sister of Albert, Virgil, and Elenor San Filippo, also survived by many nieces and nephews.In lieu of flowers, contributions will be accepted for the St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
