Aniceto “Cheto” DelaCruz, 84, after a long illness, was peacefully called to his place in heaven on December 9, 2009. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, father-in-law and friend. He will be dearly missed.He leaves to cherish his memories his beloved wife, Sovieda DelaCruz, his daughters: Soila (Raul) Moreno, Anna Maria DelaCruz; sons: Aniceto “Ani” DelaCruz Jr., Valentin (Rose) Martinez, Ernesto (Gracie) Martinez; sixteen grandchildren, twenty eight great grandchildren and many friends.The DelaCruz family would like to thank Dr. S. Padmanabhan, Dr. T. Alexander, Del Cielo Home Care and staff. Special thanks to Ninfa Garcia RN and Angel Bright Hospice Staff for their thoughtful and caring services.Visitation will be held on Friday, December 11, 2009, from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Colonial Funeral Home with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. A Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, December 12, 2009, at 1:00 p.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Taft. Burial will follow at Taft Memorial Park.
