Earline Fields, age 83, of Northport, died April 27, 2011, at Heritage Healthcare & Rehab. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Don Sanders officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Sunset Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Fields, and daughter, Polly Powell.
Survivors include her daughters, Martha Wood (Phillip) and Betty Gates (Tommy); a son, Sidney R. Hill (Ann); and 17 grandchildren.
Ms. Fields was a loving wife, mother, “MeMe”, great-grandmother, and friend. She was a ray of hope and inspiration to all who knew her. She had a true servant's heart and put others before herself throughout her life.
Honorary pallbearers are staff of Heritage Healthcare & Rehab, Martinview Assisted Living, and Southern Care Hospice.
