Joe worked at Safety Cab for many years. He will be loved and missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra Hughes; his brother, David Hughes and his wife Tammy; his sister Marian Horton; his four children – Joe, Bobby (Marie), Tammy and Cathlean (Brian); and grandsons, Thomas, Christopher, Michael, Alexander; his granddaughter, Sarah and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 15 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm at Mitchell Funeral Home, 7209 Glenwood Ave., Raleigh, NC 27612. Funeral Services will be held Monday, July 16 at 3:00pm at the funeral home, with the graveside to follow at Raleigh Memorial Park.
