Ruby Ann Wade Hock

Passed away Friday, December 21, 2012, at the age of 90. Ruby was born July 7, 1922 in Port Huron, MI to Fred E. and Marcella Elizabeth (DeMond) Wade. She played many instruments, her favorite being the guitar, and was a member of a band. She enjoyed camping and fishing and was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother. She will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin I. Hock. Surviving is a son, Ronald (Connie) Hock of Fenwick, MI; grandchildren Tracey (Brian) Simon and Ronald A. Hock; three great-grandchildren, Amanda, Christopher and Kaitlyn; great-great granddaughter Brooklynn; sisters Betty Wahler and Joyce Alger; numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, December 29, 2012, 2:00 pm at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 900 E. Michigan Avenue, Lansing. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, Michigan Great Lakes Chapter, 310 N.
