Leona McGlamory McMillan Atkinson, 95, passed away on August 18th, under the care of Hospice of Savannah. She was a resident of John Wesley Villas for the past eight years. She was the daughter of Robert T. and Annie McGlamory of Moultrie, GA. She made her home in Thomasville, Ga before relocating in Savannah in 2000. Leona retired from Coats and Clark Thread Mill after 29 years of service, and a member of the Northside Baptist Church of Thomasville.
She was preceded in death by her first husband of 47 years, James E. McMillan, and her second husband of two years, James B. Atkinson.
She is survived by daughter Bobbie McMillan Yandell, and two granddaughters, Belinda Yandell and Karen Yandell.
Interment will be at Big Creek Baptist Church in Coolidge, GA at a date to be determined later.
