Elinor E Zybeck

Born on January 5, 1924, in Alabama Center, NY, she was the daughter of the late Erving and Martha (Zabel) Kraatz.

She was a graduate of Oakfield High School and on May 19, 1945, she married the late Edmund F. Zybeck after he returned injured from the war and together they settled in West Shelby. She worked as a Shift Supervisor with the former Fisher-Price. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church of Medina and enjoyed entertaining, cooking and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her daughter, Diane (Bruce) Krenning of Albion, six grandchildren, Amanda, Sarah, Adam, Andrew, Matthew and Meribeth, 12- great-grandchildren, a sister Eldine Gray of Shelby and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents and husband, she is predeceased by two daughters, Camille Champlin, Karen (Brian) Janas, and a sister, Erma Steimer.

Relatives and friends may call on Friday, Nov. 8, 2013 from 4-7 PM at the Bates & Tuttle Funeral Home, 226 Pearl St. Medina, where a funeral service will be held on Saturday, 11:00 AM with the Rev. Stephen P. Devine officiating. Burial will be in the Alabama Cemetery.
