Eli graduated from Yonkers High School and received a Bachelor’s degree from New York University.
Eli had a career in the accounting profession as a C.P.A. He was active for many years in the City of Yonkers , Westchester County and Palm Beach County in the business, civic, education and religious community.
He was lovingly devoted to his family. He is survived by his loving wife Roslyn Fine, adoring children Ellen, Fred, (spouse Sondra), grandson Liam Fine, stepchildren Ilene Merdinger (spouse Randy Scharringhauser), Steven Merdinger (Lauri Fliegel), and granddaughter Blake Merdinger. He was predeceased by his late wife Lila G. Fine, brother Herman Fine and sister Florence Friedman.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at Mount Hope Cemetery, Jackson Avenue and Saw Mill River Road, Hastings-On-Hudson, New York.
