Linda Margaret Bentsel Stees

She was born April 21, 1936 in Lewistown, PA to the late Harry I. and Lena M. Dalton Bentsel.

On February 10, 1956, she married Richard L. Stees. Linda was an assistant manager of food service for Fairfax County Schools where she retired in 1999. The couple moved from Vienna, VA to Harrisonburg in 2005.

Besides her husband, Richard L. Stees of Harrisonburg, she is survived by her children, Angela Halkias and husband, Telly, of Bennington, VT, Richard L. Stees, Jr., and wife, Diane of Cocoa Beach, FL, Kevin J. Stees, and wife Rhonda, of Harrisonburg; six grandchildren, Jason Halkias and Ryan, Brandon, Dana, Evan and Anna Stees; and three nephews.

Linda was a member of Muhlenberg Lutheran Church.

A funeral will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, October 9, 2015 at Muhlenberg Lutheran Church with Rev. Brett Davis officiating. Burial will follow at Woodbine Cemetery. There will be no visitation.
