Joan Allan

Joan’s life was defined by her sense of family. Joan is predeceased by her parents Ford and Kae Hillman and her loving husband George of 29 years. Loving mother of Tracy (Eric), Kelly and George. Cherished Gram of Kyle, Adam, Andrea, Tim, Jake and Ben. Adored sister of Terry (Linda), Sharyn (Jim), Barry (Monica), Michael (Sharon) and Kathy (Ken). Predeceased by her siblings Pat, Kenny, Peggy and Barbara. Sister-in-law of Shirley (Max), Harry (Margaret), Betty (Hugh) and Helen (George). Joan will be deeply missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the amazing staff at St. Peter's Hospital for their incredible compassion and care for Joan in her final days. Visitation will be held at MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Tuesday, November 6th from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, November 7th at 11am. Cremation to follow.
