Gena H. Ryan, 74, of Punta Gorda, FL passed away February 7, 2011. She was born June 28, 1936 in Anthony, FL. Gena retired after 25 years as an executive secretary for the Vice President of Baxter Medical Supply, in Miami FL. Gena was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years Charles W. Ryan, daughter, Lynn Ryan Kirkland; sons, Charles "Wes" and Peggy Ryan, Jimmy and Necole Ryan; granddaughters, Christina, Angela, Deana and Kerry; grandsons, Jimmy, Joshua and Jake; great granddaughter, Caitlyn and a brother and sister-in-law, William and Judy Hooks. She is greatly loved and will be missed.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm till 2:00 pm, Friday, February 11, 2011 at the Kays-Ponger & Uselton Funeral Home, 635 E Marion Avenue, Punta Gorda, FL. The Funeral Service will follow at 2:00 pm, Friday at the funeral home.
