

Anthony Kaszonyi (Tony) was born on June 23, 1937, in Avola, BC. His parents were Peter and Barbara Kaszonyi.
Tony graduated from Philip Sheffield High School in 1955 in Abbotsford B.C.
Tony met widowed Stella and her 4 children and decided to become an instant family man, he married her on March 15, 1968. This blended family wasn't enough as they added 2 more children, Brian and Michael to the mix. They spent 54 years together.
Tony began his apprenticeship for plumbing in 1970 and was a Plumber in the local union 170. He volunteered as a fireman for Station House 1 of Abbotsford and would drive from Whistler, where he was plumbing to make Wednesday night fire practice. Tony had his own plumbing company and became known as hard working, professional within the construction industry.
Stella and Tony traveled the world throughout their lifetime. Trips to Finland, Hungary, Vegas, Hawaii and New York were just some of the few excursions they made.
Tony was an avid gardener. The landscaping of their homes was always full of roses, fountains and an arbor of grapes with a swing underneath. Stella enjoyed swinging and eating. He enjoyed spending his time building and making things for Stella.
Tony also enjoyed his days on Saturdays going into Abbotsford and looking through Frost Auction Barn on South Fraser Way for the next best thing.
Tony is survived by his brother Johnny. He is also survived by his 6 children, Jack, Joanne, Janet (John), Cindy (Scott), Brian, Michael (Terri) and 20 Grandchildren, Multiple Great Grandchildren and Great Great Grand Children.
He will be missed by all.
