OBITUARY
Arnie Alberts
July 2, 1942 – November 9, 2011
Arnie was taken too soon by Leukemia. He leaves behind his wife Kathy, children Dana and Laura (Chad Riggins), siblings Adam (Katsuko), Conrad, Tony (Colette), Lucy (John Peranzi), Luke (Carolyn), Alan, Anita, Alex, and Paul (Josie). He is predeceased by his parents Dr. J.J. and Maria Alberts, and brother Andrew. Arnie was a kind, generous, humble, helpful, and happy man with a clever sense of humor; he was truly one of a kind. A proud TWU brother of Local #32 for 45 years who leaves a huge hole in all of our lives and will be missed immensely. We would like to thank the Dr.s and nurses of the VGH BMT team as well as the Volunteer Drivers and BC Ambulance Services for their service to our family. A tribute to Arnie will take place Saturday November 26, 2011 at 2:00 pm at Cedar Valley Mennonite Church, 32840 Janzen Ave., Mission, BC.

Although I only had the privalage of knowing you in your later years with Telus, what an inspiration you were. Always full of cheer, ready to work, and did I mention, ready to work? A truly beautiful spirit. My sympathies to your family and friends.

My sister called to tell me of your passing and many memories flooded back. It's been 40 years but I still remember my first motorcycle ride! You were a wonderful person then and I know your family will miss you terribly. My sympathy to all your family and friends.

Although I did not know you long, it was as if I knew you for years. I always looked forward to you coming by to "manage" us. My deepest sympathies to your family.
