

He is pre-deceased by his parents, Frank Sabo born in Dushnok, Hungary & Elisabeth (Megyesi) Sabo born in Bremen Saskatchewan.
He is survived by his loving wife Erika (Nitz) Szabo, sons Aaron Christopher Sabo, Justin Philip Sabo, Anthony Ryan Sabo, brother Mike Sabo (Darlene), sisters Elaine Sabo, Karen Nitz (John) and brother Doug Sabo (Melanie) as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces & nephews.
Arnold & Erika were married on Feb 9, 1985 in Edmonton. Aaron was born in December of that same year. The family then moved to Three Hills, Alberta so Arnold could attend Prairie Bible College to study Theology. One year later, the family moved to Cloverdale, BC where Arnold enrolled at Trinity Western University to continue his studies in Theology. Justin was born that September. Anthony was born in 1990 and this completed the family.
Arnold was next accepted into Duke University in North Carolina with advanced standing and began his Masters Degree in Intertestamental Studies. Following the death of his father, the family moved back to British Columbia & settled In Abbotsford where Arnold lived until his passing.
Arnold worked in property management for a few years, owned a women’s clothing store in Abbotsford, and then became a realtor for the remainder of his career. He truly enjoyed his clients and had their best interest at heart.
Arnold attended Northview Church for over 30 years and was also involved with a Men’s breakfast ministry where he enjoyed interacting with men from a local recovery house. He had a real heart for people and also enjoyed being out in nature, taking walks and spending time with Anthony’s dog, Jojo who he loved so much. One of his favorite activities was taking drives in the country.
He enjoyed many different genres of music, and played piano in his earlier days. Arnold had a passion for good food and enjoyed finding new recipes to try and checking out restaurants and cafes in Vancouver.
Arnold had a big personality, very passionate in his opinions, generous, kind, and always left an impact on those he met. He was happy to share his faith in Christ and one of his favorite shows was The Chosen by Angel Studios. He loved his sons and was very proud of each one.
Arnold’s passing has left a void in the hearts of his family, friends, and many more whose lives were touched by him. We ask that you remember him not for the way his life ended, but for the way it was lived, and for the profound impact it had on the lives of those who had the pleasure of knowing him.
