Brother to his two sisters, Cathy, and Judy and survived by his three children Brianna (Greg), Dylan, Kelsey (Mitch) and his beloved dog Daisy.
Bruce grew up in East Vancouver were he attended Selkirk Elementary as a kid and then his later years graduated from Gladstone Secondary. He was affectionately know as an “East Van Staple” by colleagues and friends. Bruce began his career at Mitchell Press at the age of eighteen as a pressman in Vancouver. Bruce worked at Mitchell Press his entire career where he did countless hours and many shifts, then retired after 45 years of dedicated service.
Bruce moved to Abbotsford in 1994 where he started his family. He loved his home and spent many days outside maintaining his lawn and garden. Once the children started school, Bruce became involved with coaching all three of his children in soccer and baseball over the years. He became a well known and a loved coach too many children and families in the community. Bruce was a caring father, brother, coach, friend, and was always willing to lend a hand to those in need. We remember him for his constant humour and contagious laugh. He will be forever missed…
