Chad was born in Abbotsford, BC on February 16, 1981 to Penny and Harry Colivas. It was love at first sight and the bond between Chad and his mom was so strong and unbreakable. He immediately became her little buddy and that never changed. He was the oldest of 4 children.
Chad was raised in Abbotsford in one family home, he attended one elementary school and one high school. After graduation, he got a job at Dynamic Windows and Doors where he has stayed working for 22 years. His relationships and bonds with his family members always remained strong. Over 6 years ago he met Vicki the love of his life. She made him so happy, and her family loved him too and accepted him as their own.
Chad loved all sports, but had a deep passion for golf. Anyone who knows Chad knows he loved the Oakland Raiders and the Montreal Canadiens, those were his teams. He was kind, loyal, and protective. He would do anything he could to help others in need. He loved his family and would do everything in his power to ensure they were safe and protected. He cared deeply for others and didn’t want to see others in pain. He made it a priority to check in with people and make sure they were doing okay. He was a solid person and someone you could always depend on. If you became his friend, it meant you would be friends for life. There aren’t other people like him around he was genuine and only wanted the best for anybody he crossed paths with.
He is survived by his parents, Penny and Harry Colivas, sister Tanis Colivas and her partner Kevin McCauley, two nephews Jayden and Dominic, sister Haley Colivas, and brother Jared Colivas and his partner Linda Hoang, three nieces, Nyaunna, Carter, and Mason and his soulmate Vicki Sriratanakoul. Also, several other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
This world was a better place with Chad in it. A piece of our hearts is permanently missing and our lives will never be the same.
