God saw fit to take Case and his brother, Erik Timmermans home, February 4th 2025. They fell through the ice while fishing on Grace Lake in Agassiz BC. Case was born in the Netherlands in Alblasserdam, March 19, 1957. He left his homeland in 1976, with a dream to begin his own landscape company in Canada. Case married Jocelyn Sevenhuysen in 1979. They shared a love of nature and a spirit of adventure. Starting with just a wheelbarrow and a shovel, Case worked six days a week, hiring his first full time employee in 1983. His persistence, hard work, keen sense of business and easy way with people has served him well. Case had a generous heart, often reaching out and employing those in need.
He is predeceased by his son, Derrick Timmermans in 2008. Case will be forever remembered and missed by his wife, Jocelyn, his children and grandchildren; Jeanette & Willem Rietveld: Scott, Case, Hank + Tom, Renee & Nick Reeves: Amy, Roger, Zoe + Natalie, Corwin & Christina Timmermans: Gerrit, Kathleen, Julianne, Neil, Chelsey & Jordan Swedberg, Nathan & Camille Timmermans: Penelope + Marie and by his many friends and relatives in Canada and the Netherlands.
The Celebration of Life service will be held Friday February 21st at 1:00pm at Gateway Community Church, 2884 Gladys Ave. Abbotsford.]
