My family will always remember Dicky not only as a wonderful neighbour but a beautiful friend. Will never forget our morning hellos from our balcony’s talking about our daily life & her advice on how to keep my plants blooming and hummingbird feeder alive.

A wonderful memory Lorne (nephew) had of his Auntie Dicky was when she lived in Edmonton, AB. Dicky rented me ski equipment and of course Dicky had her own as she was an excellent skier ⛷ Dicky  took me skiing on The Rabbit Hill overlooking the Edmonton River Valley so scenic. We skied the entire day and had a blast skiing through fluffy snowy hills . Dicky always beat me down the hills but was always waiting for me at the bottom of the hill with a big smile on her face ! It was so much fun Dicky you will be missed but not forgotten. Rest In Peace Dicky I love you .and I will never forget our time skiing Rabbit Hill. Always in my heart ♥️ Lorne

Dicky,  you will be fondly remembered by so many of your friends at Mountview.   I will miss your big smile, our long chats and the many laughs we shared.  It won't be the same here without you.  Your lovely flower garden, on which you worked so hard for so many years, and with such joy, will be your legacy to us.  We will think of you in the Springtime when your flowers are blooming.  My deepest sympathies to your family in their big loss.  

They say there is a reason, they say that time will heal. But neither time or reason, will change the way we feel.
No one knows the heartache, that lies behind my smile,  no one knows how many times I have broken down and cried.
I want to tell you something, so there wont be any doubt, your wonderful to think of,  but hard to do without. And beyond deaths dark horizon,  my heart will once again sing.
For those who leave us for awhile, have only gone away, out of a restless , careworn world
And into a brighter day
